Maroon 5 to perform in KL, M’sia on Feb. 12, 2025

Maroon 5 will be playing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 12 February 2025. Their last concert in Malaysia was in 2012 for their Overexposed Tour. The upcoming performance is slated to take place at the National Hockey Stadium at 8pm as part of their Maroon 5 Asia 2025 tour.

## Background

Maroon 5, known for hits like “Sugar” and “Moves Like Jagger,” will be returning to Malaysia after a 13-year hiatus. The band, consisting of Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, James Valentine, Matt Flynn, PJ Morton, and Sam Farrar, has a significant fan base in the region. Their last performance in Malaysia was a major success, and fans have eagerly awaited their return.

## Asia tour

The Maroon 5 Asia 2025 tour includes several other stops across the continent. The tour will kick off in Manila on 29 January, followed by Jakarta on 1 February, Bangkok on 3 February, and three dates in Tokyo on 6, 8, and 9 February. After their Kuala Lumpur show, they will conclude the tour in Kaohsiung on 14 February. Notably, the band will not be performing in Singapore, where they last played in 2022.

## Ticket sales

Tickets for the Kuala Lumpur concert range from RM398 (S$119) for Category 7 to RM1,128 (S$338) for early entry VIP. These prices exclude booking fees and transaction charges. The early entry VIP package includes a RM688 (S$206) ticket, early entry through a dedicated VIP entrance, a VIP Maroon 5 gift item, a VIP tour laminate and lanyard, and early access to the merchandise counter.

Pre-sale tickets will be available to Maroon 5 S.I.N. fan club members on 30 September from 11am to 11:59pm. Mastercard pre-sale will run from 1 October at 11am to 3 October at 11am. Live Nation pre-sale, which requires registration, will be on 3 October from 1pm to 11:59pm.

## Additional details

The National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil, where the concert will be held, is a multi-use stadium within the National Sports Complex. This venue has hosted numerous significant events and is expected to provide an excellent atmosphere for the concert. Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early, given the high demand and the band’s long absence from the Malaysian stage.
