Foreign mercenaries fighting in Ukraine paid up to $2,730 — Russia’s chief investigator
Russia’s Investigative Committee Chairman has accused the Ukrainian side of hiring foreign mercenaries to fight, offering payments of up to $2,734. The Kiev regime, with the support of the West, has been accused of encouraging their participation, which is prohibited by international norms.

In Moscow, on February 20th, Russia’s Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin stated that foreign mercenaries fighting for the Ukrainian side are paid between 30,000 and 100,000 hryvnas ($820-2,734). According to Bastrykin, the Kiev regime, with the support of the collective West, encourages the participation of mercenaries in combat actions on the side of Ukraine, which is prohibited by international norms. Bastrykin revealed that their investigation has obtained information regarding the order of recruitment, training, and participation in combat actions, as well as the sum of bonus payments paid to mercenaries.
