Los Angeles-based pop rock band LANY was spotted at 313@Somerset on 21 September, following their performance at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 20 September. The platinum-certified band, known for hits like “ILYSB” and “Malibu Nights,” appeared at % Arabica as part of a pop-up collaboration. Fans crowded the vicinity around the café, eager to pose with the band and many sporting signed aprons.

Background

The band’s appearance at % Arabica was part of a lucky draw promotion organised by Lendlease from 13 August to 11 September 2024. Lendlease Plus members who spent a minimum of S$150 within three days across Lendlease Plus malls could redeem a mug exclusively designed by LANY. Those who spent S$180 within the same period had the chance to meet LANY at % Arabica and take home an autographed apron designed by the band.

World tour details

LANY is currently on their world tour titled “A Beautiful Blur,” travelling around Australia and Asia. Before their Singapore stop, they performed in Perth, Australia, on 17 September. Their next performance is scheduled for Kuala Lumpur on 22 September. The band had previously performed in Singapore at The Theatre at Mediacorp in August 2023.
