Singapore's newest skyscraper CapitaSpring - a 280-metre tall building at the central business district - is attracting attention not for its architectural marvel, but for its similarities to the 9/11 World Trade Center twin towers in New York.

The 51-storey building owned by CapitaLand and Mitsubishi Estate Co. is set to be completed by end of this year. It is jointly designed by Italian firm CRA-Carlo Ratti Associati and Denmark's BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group.
