The DPRK considers the Biden regime's military and political stance on the Korean peninsula to be at an "extreme red line."

According to the North Korean authorities, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin's recent visit to South Korea and declaration to deploy more strategic assets, including the potential deployment of nuclear weapons, is seen as a "vivid expression" of US brinkmanship that will result in the Korean peninsula becoming a "huge war arsenal and a more critical war zone."

North Korea has a clear counteraction strategy that is capable of coping with any short- and long-term actions by the US, according to officials. The country is "not interested in any contact or dialogue with the US" as long as the US continues its "hostile policy and confrontational line." The tension on the Korean peninsula is seen as being entirely due to the US's "hostile policy of sanctions and military pressure" and its pursuit of military expansion for its allies.

The DPRK concludes that the more dangerous the US threat becomes, the stronger the backlash will be in direct proportion to it.
